November 2, 2007, Newsletter Issue #192: Pluto in Cancer, 1912-1938

Tip of the Week

During Pluto´s transit of Cancer, nations were radically transformed by the slaughterfields of WWI, beginning the breaking of women´s ties with the home as they took to the fields and the factories during the four year absence of male labor forces. The onset of the Great Depression in 1930 further strengthened women as they struggled to raise their families with men away in search of work. The Scorpio creed, "What does not kill me makes me stronger" was never more in evidence.
